Day 1 - June 26th, 2024

Fly to Johannesburg International Airport which is our meeting point to start this amazing adventure.

Day 2 - June 27th, 2024

Fly to Maun, Botswana from Johannerburg, SA.

On the first day of your adventure, you'll be greeted at Maun Airport and whisked away to our camp in Nxai Pan National Park. Here, you'll get comfortable in our luxurious glamping-style tents and get ready for an exhilarating game drive across the expansive pans. As the sun begins its descent, we'll toast to the day's discoveries with champagne and sundowner cocktails in a breathtaking and dramatic setting.

Day 3, 4 - June 28th - 29th, 2024

Nxai Pan

On the third day of your journey, we're in for two more unforgettable days of exploration in Nxai Pan National Park from our exceptional base camp, supported by an extraordinary team that includes a skilled kitchen crew and bartenders ready to craft exquisite cocktails and serve fine wines right in the heart of the Kalahari.

Nxai Pan National Park, our chosen destination, is an extraordinary place, teeming with unique wildlife and an inherent, untouched beauty. It's truly remarkable to be here, given its distinctive features and the rare opportunity it offers. In this special haven, you can encounter an array of wildlife, including elegant and majestic creatures such as lions, hyenas, giraffes, cheetah, elephants, and zebras, as well as fascinating bird species. What truly sets this experience apart is the privilege of witnessing nature in its purest form, untouched by the presence of crowds or human disturbances. This pristine wilderness allows us to revel in the wonder of the natural world in a way that few ever get to experience, making our journey all the more precious and remarkable.

Day 5 - June 30th, 2024

From the Desert to the Delta

​

On the fifth day, an exciting adventure awaits. Following a picturesque helicopter flight over the Kalahari, we'll touch down in the very heart of the Okavango Delta at Xakanaka Airstrip. From there, a double-decker boat will carry us through the labyrinthine waterways of the Okavango, allowing us to spot an array of remarkable wildlife along the way. Keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles, hippos, lechwe, sitatunga, and those charming spotted-neck otters, to name just a few.

​

As we leisurely traverse these channels, sipping on refreshing G&Ts and marveling at the abundant wildlife, our journey will culminate as we reach our next destination: Mboma Island.

The Okavango Delta in Botswana is a true marvel of nature, boasting a breathtaking landscape of winding waterways, verdant islands, and lush wetlands that teem with life. This pristine wilderness is one of the most exclusive safari destinations on the planet, with only a handful of lodges and camps that offer a truly immersive and authentic experience. The Delta's unique geography, formed by the Okavango River that flows down from the Angolan highlands and spreads out across the Kalahari Desert, creates an oasis that sustains a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, and more.

Day 6 - July 1st, 2024

Glamping at Moremi Game Reserve - Mboma Island

Today promises a full day of adventure as we embark on a thrilling journey through the heart of the Okavango Delta aboard our speedy and agile speedboat. Navigating through winding channels and picturesque lagoons, we'll greet the resident hippos, elephants and crocodiles as we search for the perfect island setting to enjoy a delightful picnic lunch and perhaps even a rejuvenating nap.

In the afternoon, the exploration continues, and as the day winds down, we'll anchor our bar right in the midst of the lagoon for a special and enchanting happy hour. As the sun gracefully descends, its golden hues beautifully paint the water, surrounding foliage, and the incredible array of wildlife that call this magnificent delta home.

Day 7 - July 2nd, 2024

Transfer from Mboma Island to Xini Lagoon

On day seven, we'll journey from Mboma Island to the extraordinary and lesser-visited Xini Lagoon area in the southern region of the Moremi Game Reserve. Xini Lagoon is a truly exceptional destination, renowned for its unique charm and outstanding wildlife encounters. Here, you'll have the opportunity to witness an impressive array of animals, including the majestic cheetah.

This hidden gem is a prime location for cheetah sightings, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. As we reunite with our talented kitchen and support team from Nxai Pan, we'll settle in for an exceptional three-day glamping experience in this secluded corner of the Okavango Delta. Expect a fully stocked bar and indulgent three-course menus, all enjoyed beneath the mesmerizing canopy of stars, making your dining experience as remarkable as the wildlife encounters that await you.

Day 8, 9 - July 3rd - 4th, 2024

Xini Lagoon

Over the next two days, our journey through the Xini Lagoon area will be dedicated to the pursuit of predators and game, unveiling what makes this part of the Okavango so extraordinary. This region's uniqueness lies in its pristine and unspoiled wilderness, a true testament to the untouched beauty of Mother Nature.

We'll engage in twice-daily game drives, with our trusty fridges stocked with an array of refreshments, including beer, champagne, and tasty snacks. It's in this enchanting setting that we'll have the chance to track down predators and immerse ourselves in one of the most untouched and pure wilderness areas on our planet, where every day feels as fresh and exhilarating as day one.

Returning to camp in the evening, we have two more splendid nights of glamping ahead, accompanied by our remarkable crew. Gathered around the crackling fire, we'll share stories and create lasting memories under the star-studded African skies.

Day 10, 11 - July 5th - 6th, 2024

Transfer from Xini Lagoon to Khwai River (2 days of glamping)

Day 10 marks the transition to our next glamping site, nestled in the pristine beauty of Khwai in the Okavango Delta. Khwai, renowned for its awe-inspiring splendor, is an exceptional and sacred destination. Here, you'll find a stunning array of wildlife, set against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery, making every moment in this sanctuary truly remarkable.

The allure of Khwai lies in its ability to captivate with an enchanting blend of nature's marvels. The chance to encounter elusive wild dogs, one of the world's most endangered predators, adds a layer of wonder to your journey. As we conclude our adventure, we'll spend two remarkable days in glamping luxury, surrounded by our dedicated crew. Sipping on cold champagne and indulging in gin and tonics, we'll eagerly await serendipitous wildlife encounters. In these closing moments, the distractions of city life fade into insignificance, leaving us with the pure, unadulterated peace of the wilderness, and a profound sense of connection to each other.

Day 12 - July 7th, 2024

Fly back home

On this day, we awaken in our Khwai camp, sharing a bittersweet breakfast as we bid a heartfelt farewell to the extraordinary crew that has pampered us for the past 10 days. In the heart of Botswana, you've not only experienced the wonders of nature but also gained a new family. As we part ways, you'll carry the warmth of these connections with you.

​

Our final game drive brings us to Khwai airstrip, where we'll prepare for our flight back to Maun. From there, you can catch your flight to Johannesburg Airport (JNB), with the flexibility to make it home on the same night, considering that international flights often depart late in the evening.

​

But, if you're still craving more adventure, we invite you to join us as we soar to Cape Town, embarking on an exquisite five-day journey through the Cape Winelands, renowned for its gastronomy and world-class wines. This extension will encompass two days in Cape Town itself, followed by three unforgettable days exploring the magnificent wineries of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
